Oscar-nominee Hal Holbrook brings his acclaimed Tony® Award-winning one-man show to the Webb Center to celebrate the humor, satirical wit and timeless observations of Mark Twain. Holbrook has been Mark Twain almost as long as Samuel Clemens. For nearly 50 years, he has enthralled audiences around the world with Twains unique take on politics, culture and the world. Holbrook edits and changes his show to fit the times – he has more than 16 hours of Twains material in his repertoire – and makes each performance a unique and memorable experience. A must-see treasure of American theatre; as one audience member stated “I went to see Hal Holbrook but he wasnt there, only Mark Twain.”
