The Capitol Steps began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them. Representing 62 collective years of House and Senate experience in 18 Congressional offices, everything political is fodder for the Steps. Since the musical comedy troupe began, the Capitol Steps have recorded 29 albums, including their latest, Obama Mia! Every political issue – and non-political issues, too, is fair game for this very funny, quick-witted company of comics.
