Applications:

6th-8th Grade

Art. Works. after school program will begin on September 9 for 6th - 8th grade students. The program fee is $25 for two classes and will run for 5 consecutive Fridays, ending on October 7; scholarships are available.

There is a nominal charge for participation in Art. Works. Scholarships are available for those who qualify. To receive a tax credit for the $25 registration fee please make check payable to “Wickenburg Unified School District” and submit the Art. Works. registration form with a tax credit form to the Hassayampa Elementary or Vulture Peak Middle School front office.  If you choose not to receive a tax credit for this program you may make your check payable to the “Webb Center” and turn in the registration form to the Webb Center Box Office.  Contact the Webb Center Box Office @ 928-684-6624 for more information.

Character Development - Creating a backstory will add depth to performances by making characters more convincing. Learn how to fill in
the blanks about the character they are portraying. (Taught by Kevin Armstrong)

Mastering A Monologue - Whether
it's part of a bigger show or an
audition piece, proper preparation will make all the difference! Learn how to select, prepare, and deliver an effective monologue. (Taught by Kevin Armstrong)

Stage Combat - Learn safe ways to take falls in stage combat situations, taking fake punches to make them look more realistic, and sword and spear fighting with Japanese weapons. (Taught by Tom Manfredi)

Auditions 101 - Learn audition techniques, performance styles, stage movement & the importance of song choice. (Taught by Camille Boyle)

Vocal Training - Explore vocal
training and singing techniques in a setting similar to a private voice lesson.  (Taught by Camille Boyle)
